Dermal Fillers

If you are looking to improve volume and sagging skin, dermal fillers can provide you with completely natural-looking results.  These injections are used to hydrate, soften and increase the volume of your skin. The result is healthier, fuller and tighter skin, making you feeling more confident and refreshed.

As you age, your skin’s elasticity begins to decrease. A loss of hyaluronic acid and collagen, together with sun exposure, weight, lifestyle choices and hereditary factors might mean that your skin is more prone to fine lines, wrinkles and the early symptoms of ageing.

Dermal fillers can be used to restore volume and contour the face to aid facial rejuvenation.  They can also be used to plump out wrinkles and deep lines that occur with age to help restore a fuller and more youthful complexion. When injected into the lips they can help restore definition to the lip or just help produce a more voluminous aesthetic.

What are dermal fillers?

  • Dermal fillers are smooth injectable gels made from naturally occurring hyaluronic acid. With increasing age, the natural hyaluronic acid content of the skin loses the capacity to store water. This loss of volume results in sagging of the skin.

  • Dermal fillers work by restoring volume to weakened facial features and can stimulate collagen growth. The injectable gels come in different viscosities so that the most appropriate treatment can be chosen.

What areas can be treated?

Areas treated include lips, tear troughs (under eye bags), nose-to-mouth lines, marionettes (corners of the mouth), cheeks, temples, jawline, chin and deeper wrinkles.
